Liz’ Pets: Mooby
Phoenix wanted a buddy, so we rescued a kitty from
someone who works closely with the CNY Cat
Coalition. She had a bunch of homeless kitties and
one which would have done particularly well in our
crazy house with all our dogs. Mooby, is a black
and white neutered, domestic short haired kitty.
You see Mooby’s Mom was rescued herself by a
dog, a black lab actually.
So, I scooped up Mooby, we had him neutered
through the coalition, and he and Phoenix are best
buds. They rule the rec room, which is our movie
room, computer room and walk-out basement with
wonderful windows, which allow full view of
squirrels and birds, and lets the sunshine in!
They have their own sectional couch, a pullout
couch for sleep-overs, and few chairs. I mean
these cats have it made. We threw in a cat tree
by the window just in case they felt the two
couches weren’t enough. We didn’t want them to
feel cheated somehow.
